BONUSES AFTER 90 DAYS AND THEN AGAIN AFTER 6 MONTHS!!! Job Summary Responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuums, sweeps, and mops floors. Empties trash receptacles and replace lining of trash cans. Primary Responsibilities Sweep and mop floors. Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces. Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Vacuum and spot-clean carpets. Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean. Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants. Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies Organize janitorial storage areas Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally Attention to detail Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments Ability to follow directions from a supervisor Ability to demonstrate professionalism Comfort with using phone apps Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team EXPECTATIONS Reports to work each day and on time. Completes tasks in an efficient manner Must comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required (i.e. when using cleaning chemicals, reporting incidents, etc.). Provides excellent level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
