Closing Date: Applications will be accepted until the position is filled Position Begins: April 25, 2022 Status: Part-Time (75%FTE) Hourly - 12 month position Salary: $17 to $22/hour DOQ with competitive benefits package FLSA Category: Non-Exempt Reports to: Facilities Manager Position Overview: Lake Country School is seeking a person to work part-time supporting the facilities manager in maintaining the school facilities. The hours would be 2:00pm to 8:00pm Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate should have experience in basic maintenance tasks related to electrical, painting, pumping, carpentry, heating rooftop units, and boiler systems. Tasks include assisting the facilities manager with HVAC filter changes, fixing leaking faucets, fixing cabinet doors, patching walls, installing shelves, moving furniture, supporting school events, painting and varnishing, and other assigned tasks determined by the facilities manager. Assist in the maintenance of lawns, landscaping, concrete, blacktop, playgrounds, including pedestrian walkways; this includes removal of trash, debris, snow, and ice. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs, climb sets of stairs regularly, and walk the property in all conditions. The candidate must also have a current Minnesota boilers license to operate hot water boiler systems or be able to obtain one and be able to pass a background check.
