Industrial Economics, Incorporated (IEc), a consulting firm founded in 1981 and located in Cambridge, MA, has over 40 years of experience providing practical, yet sophisticated, analysis and advice to decision makers in the public and private sectors. IEc consultants are national leaders in the fields of technical development, financial analysis, logistics, environmental policy and economic analysis, strategic planning, program evaluation, support for regulatory enforcement, and industry analysis. IEc is seeking a full time Contracts Administrator to join our Contracts Pricing and Procurement group. As a Contracts Administrator, you will support IEc’s business development efforts, pricing compliance reviews, and work on contracting components that overlay business, financial, and legal considerations for economic, environmental, policy, and other projects. Our team utilizes their skill sets to develop financial proposals, document procurement actions, and review pricing compliance for ongoing projects, often in the context of federal government contracting practices and regulations (e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulation). This position is a great fit for candidate willing to learn and accept new challenges on the job. Key skills for the successful candidate include a high level of attention to detail, basic mathematic and analytical skills, intermediate proficiency in Excel, creative thinking, and the ability to concentrate while accurately carrying out time sensitive tasks. Applicants should be able to work individually, as well as within a team, and communicate clearly and concisely across multiple levels of the business hierarchy by written and verbal means. Position Type: Full Time Position Start Date: Immediate Duties: • Review bid/solicitation materials and summarize key requirements to facilitate proposal development. • Work closely with senior staff to develop financial proposal materials. • Communicate clearly with subcontractors to gather information necessary for proposals. • Assemble proper documentation of business development and procurement efforts. • Analyze pricing data for compliance with company guidelines. • Maintain and update internal tracking systems. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic copies of files and their metadata in IEc’s document management software. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics • Minimum 3-years’ of experience working in contracts, accounting, grants administration, or similar position • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and Word • Strong organizational skills • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality To apply you must upload all of the following materials: Cover Letter, Resume APPLY ONLINE: EOE AA M/F/Veterans/Disability
