Operates forklift and other delivery equipment fulfilling various tasks associated in the delivery of product to the customer. Maintains cleanliness and organization of retail facility and performs minor repairs to equipment and facilities accordingly and maintains accurate repair records and files on the equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.) I. Yard Duties 1. Daily property walk through a. Make sure facility is clean and presentable b. Make sure landscape is presentable 2. Weekly weed abatement 3. Bi-monthly magnetic pickup of nails 4. Weekly mowing of lawn 5. Stack pallets a. Sort pallets b. Repair pallets 6. Load customers safely with the correct quantity of sod 7. Maintain the highest priority in safety and customer service 8. Stock and clean fertilizer shed 9. Rotate sod inventory 10. Maintain fertilizer inventories a. 5 lb, 10 lb, 25 lb inventories b. Monthly physical inventory report to Controller 11. Daily break down of pallets and down stack pallets in shed. a. Split pallets in half; take thirty rolls off the top of every pallet and put on a new pallet. 12. Maintain and service equipment as needed a. Service cooler in the shed b. Maintain landscape irrigation system c. Daily service of forklift II. Check engine oil, hydraulic oil, fuel and other fluids III. Check air pressure on tractor and trailer tires *Please submit resume*
