The St. Louis West KOA offers picturesque camping as it was meant to be - with lots of trees, a babbling creek, fireflies, and a campfire under a starlit sky located on Historic Route 66, less than 1 mile from Six Flags St. Louis and I-44. We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing people to join our outdoor hospitality team. Offering camping year-round in RVs, Cabins, Deluxe Cabins, and tents our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service. We currently have positions available in the following departments: Housekeeping Landscaping Maintenance Front Desk Guest Services See below for a sample of responsibilities or click on the link below to take you directly to our job website www.keioutdoorjobs.com RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensures customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy • Communicate with all staff and management using Microsoft Teams • Enforce campground policies and implement solutions consistent with goals of park • Proactive guest management to ensure positive environment for all guests • Coordinate with staff for guest arrivals • Coordinate with staff for problem resolution when applicable • Utilize creative problem solving skills • Complete various duties as assigned by manager which can include but are not limited to: light janitorial duties, assisting other departments in completion of tasks, overall support in daily performance of the campground. Requirements • Good customer service and communications skills • Ability to multi task and prioritize • Able to work with others and work independently • Professional Appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members • Communicate professionally and patiently • Be on your feet during shift and able to lift at least 30 lbs. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Actively communicate both verbally and written We currently have full-time, part-time and seasonal positions available. The working hours for will depend on the positions but we see the highest volume on weekends and holidays. Hours per week can vary from 15-40 hours. Successful applicants for full time positions will also receive subsidized health insurance, vacation pay and Simple IRA contributions after completed milestones.
