Rehoming male Saint Bernard puppy

Description

It is with a sad and heavy heart that my wife and I are looking to rehome our pup. Meet Teddy, an 18-month old (born October 2020) Saint Bernard. He is a "dry-mouth" and "rough coat" (meaning more curly, but softer, less coarse hair, go figure). I do not have any ADA certification, but I trust the breeder on this. My wife has sustained injuries that make it impossible to fairly care for Teddy. We want to see the best for him, but it's not fair to him to no longer be able to go on regular walks, nor risk my wife being further injured by a playful pup. He is big (approx 150lbs), strong, and playful. He is a very friendly boy who loves everyone and is very happy with life. He does very well with other dogs, we took him to the Moscow dog park regularly, and he is very submissive despite being a big male. We have three children, 3, 6, 7, and he does very well with them as well. We also have several cats of whom he plays and cuddles with. He has his first rounds of shots, and is approaching the age we were planning to have him neutered. Big dogs are puppies for longer than usual, and premature neutering can cause growth issues. We've never rehomed a pet before, but we're asking a $400 rehoming fee to include his extra large kennel (if desired), 60lbs of food, dishes, and 4gal waterer. We very much would like to see him go to a home with room to run and play outside.
