NOW HIRING – Facility & Transportation Specialist No Experience Needed! ABLE is a fun place to work with great hours: M-F 7:30 am-4:30 pm (hour lunch). ABLE is in Thornton, CO. We take amazing people with Down Syndrome & Autism, etc., on community outings. We need a handy person to keep us up & running. Must be able to perform vehicle maintenance, order building supplies, do basic janitorial work and keep our facility in good repair. We’re looking for a trustworthy, self-starter who likes to tinker with basic hand tools, get their hands dirty, and learn all there is to know about wheelchair lifts & tie-downs, etc. It’s good to know how to unclog toilets, jump-start a minivan and change fluorescent lightbulbs. You may need to rescue a van full of people if there’s been a flat tire, clean up a spill or do a quick paint repair job. Feel valued, appreciated, and end your day with a smile. We’re always grateful for a well-stocked bathroom with plenty of toilet paper. Experience isn’t necessary. We will train you.
