As sometimes is the case rescued dogs don’t fit the family they were intended for…in this case I have a beautiful, 2 year-old pit mix named Peaches who is not a fit for any of our Veteran’s Best Friend Indiana, Inc. client applications. I am a professional dog trainer and Peaches has lived with me since the end of January, is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and has had basic obedience training. She loves everyone and is dog friendly but like to play constantly so will need an active family, a fenced yard and kids in their teens. She’d also be an amazing running or hiking partner. Peaches is available to the right home and will have an adoption fee that will go back to VBF to offset her spay surgery. References will be required for adoption. Peaches will remain with me and continue her training until she finds a home. She is currently learning to be a public dog with walks at dog friendly retail stores and the Monon Trail.
