Who you are... • You are energetic, inspiring and adventurous • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment• You are detailed orientated • You understand golf course maintenance equipment • You understand irrigation and equipment related • You possess a Valid Oregon Driver’s License• You are available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays What you'll do…Create daily, weekly, monthly and yearly schedules for all golf course duties Clearly communicate to all employees on the Course Maintenance staff their individual job requirements Clearly communicate with the Golf Shop and other departments on Course Maintenance topics Monitor on a regular basis all equipment and systems involved in the application of any fertilizers, chemicals and amendments in conjunction with the Equipment Technician.Inventory and provide ordering information for all fertilizer, chemicals and amendments. Calibrate any type of equipment used in the application of any fertilizer, chemicals and amendments. Become knowledgeable of all equipment and systems of the irrigation system from pump station to rotor. Become knowledgeable of all equipment and systems that involve all fertilizer, chemical and amendment applications. Design and/or implement a training program for all current and future Course Maintenance staff members in conjunction with the Golf Course Superintendent and Equipment Technician.Perform regular audits of the Course Maintenance staff in terms of operating all equipmentContinuing education is very important to the growth and development of each employee employed at Tetherow. Monitor the playability of the golf course on a regular basis. Recognize and act upon the details will enable the Course Maintenance to staff to produce a golf course that is rated in the top 100 public facilities in the United States. Work with the main golf course superintendent assistant to help divvy up duties and make sure everything is taken care of.
