JOB SUMMARY We're looking for full-time Automotive / Tire Technicians to join TODAY at our Plano automotive service and retail tire center in the North Dallas of DFW. JOB FUNCTIONS Automotive / Tire Technicians install new tires and wheels and perform tire services -- like rotations, balancing, and flat repairs -- to keep vehicles operating safely. Clean and maintain the tire shop area. Maintain inventory, parts, and supplies. Perform routine administrative functions. Perform other related job duties as assigned. PRE-QUALIFICATIONS 1-2 years of work experience in the diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and replacement of tires. Texas Driver's License or Texas Commercial Driver’s License. Ability to work flexible hours/ schedule Knowledge of the practices associated with tire/wheel repair, and replacement. Be at least 18 years of age Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Be able to work weekends. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The work of an automotive tire technician requires exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
