Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Armed Bank Robbery In Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CA — A 27-year-old Indiana man was arrested on suspicion of an armed robbery at a Santa Monica bank on Tuesday, authorities said. Aaron Koehler-Marsh of Dayton, Indiana, reportedly walked inside the bank with a shotgun at about 9:20 a.m. Tuesday at the Wells Fargo Bank, 170 Pier Avenue, near Main Street, according to Santa Monica police. The suspect was attempting to drive a vehicle out of the bank parking lot when he was stopped by officers, police said. "Officers were able to conduct a high-risk traffic stop at the intersection of Neilson Way and Bicknell," police said. He was taken into custody without incident, police said.
