SANTA MONICA, CA — A bicyclist suffered critical injuries Saturday after crashing in the Santa Monica Mountains. The person was airlifted by helicopter to a nearby trauma center, officials said. Paramedics and firefighters were deployed to assist the person around 10 a.m. on Sullivan Fire Road, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department. No other details were released.
