Hi, I'm mayo. I'm a 29 y/o guitarist and songwriter from the Southside of Chicago. Im interested in fusing and experimenting with multiple genre's with rap and hip hop serving as the core that brings it all together. Im Looking for musicians that are capable or willing to develope the ability to rap while playing, or singing while playing. I'm looking for special people. YOU MUST HAVE AN EGO... not so big that you compromise the unity of the group but big enough to command presence over a crowd, so people with character and entertainers are welcome. I'm in the infancy of starting this and need individuals that are willing to get behind my vision. I'm seeking a bassist with funk, rock, blues, and limited metal experience. If you are cable of playing multiple instruments even better. Looking to infuse pitch shifters and distortion to the bass to give modern 808 feels to certain tracks. I Also need a drummer with gospel, heavy metal, fuck, and jazz experience. If you are able to stay in the pocket and spit like Anderson pakk that'd be ideal. This will be an unique hip hop band with r&b, funk, pop and soul influences. All music should be radio ready and modern. This k of the migos meet rage against the machine.
