Rusty Monks is a 9-12 piece funk rock band that likes to jam out on their own original music (we do some covers too...). We are looking for a strong, soulful singer to sing back up, do occasional lead and fill in on lead if lead vox can't make a gig. The band rehearses regularly in Rahway, NJ about every other week. We groove like Sly Stone, get funky like The Meters, jam like Santana and chill like Steely Dan. Have some gigs now, but building on 2021's performances (opened for Southside Johnny, En Vogue and headlined festivals etc). Send LINKS of vids and/or audio of your playing.
