With the exception of the position of full set kit drummer, all core instrument positions are open to be filled in a new progressive extremely hard rock and roll large venue touring concert band. Your understanding will need to be focused and centered on the fact that if you become a part of this project then your participation in this project, along with the participation of everyone else, is REAL WORK..make no mistake whatsoever about the fact that this project IS NOT A GET HIGH ON THE ROAD PARTY..this music job is real work and you will be compensated very nicely for your perseverance and your contribution toward the project the way a serious working musician should be compensated. With regard to this matter, you will not be disappointed. So to begin playing..as in TODAY..because the drummer position is locked in and because I am a long time touring bassist and guitarist, the drummer and I simply just immediately need either a bassist or guitarist..if we locate a bassist first then I will rock with guitar and if we find a guitarist first then I will rock on bass guitar..there you have it..instant three piece hard rock band to start work TODAY. It is necessary to understand that this band will not be a cover tune playing touring band..the tour concert music is original music. But, in the meantime while the band is progressing with working up the original music for the tours, we are going to nail down some very good hard rock familiar tunes and become a new rock and roll innovator movement in the Tulsa area live music scene. Musicians working with us should be available to perform on any given night no less than 3 and possibly up to 5 nights a week. In reality, the short term goal is to become a leading top contender in the Tulsa and surrounding area live rock music scene with very quality sound and enjoyable rock music presentations just like what would be delivered in a large concert setting but in a smaller local venue environment. For anyone still interested and reading, the touring work when the original music presentation is ready will consist of 3 each, 2 month tours annually, with a 2 month break between each tour. During each week of the tour, there will be a minimum of 3 show each week with an occasional 4th show added during any given week so each 8 week tour will consist of a minimum of 24 concerts. During the tour, with a possible very rare exception, no venues will be booked that will have a seating capacity of less than 2500 so booked venues will be for larger audiences. Our minimum goal during the first year's tour is to present our music live to a minimum of 144,000 concert goers. That is a very good goal to work towards and achieve with an out of the box project like this.
