Rental Property Maintenance / General Handyman
Compensation: Hourly, every Friday. Or salary after six months. 1099 or W2.

Fast growing residential rental real estate company in Kankakee County looking for experienced maintenance worker with all around maintenance skills. At a minimum, should be able to “turn around” a recently vacated home. Typically that would mean basic drywall repair, painting, installing light fixtures, blinds and faucets. Repairing or hanging interior and exterior doors. Exterior work would include siding and gutter repair, and small roof repair (on single story homes). If you have additional specific skills, such as HVAC repair or installing carpet, great.
Must have reliable van or truck and basic tools. Must have phone to speak with the office on progress/problems, send/receive texts and pictures.
You will initially meet with the owner or manager to discuss what needs to be done, then you will be working alone or with someone else to complete the job.
Monday through Friday. Bonuses after six months. We’ve been doing this a long time. Honesty and reliability are essential.
