We are an established national staffing agency seeking reliable, professional event staff for a large conference at the Austin Convention Center on April 5 & 6. Positions available include badge scanners, registration, info booth and general event assistants. LOCATION: Austin Convention Center TRAINING: Sunday, April 3, 2022 - 1:00pm-5:00pm (training is mandatory - no exceptions) SCHEDULE: Tuesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 6 - Shifts vary between 7:00am-6:30pm (MUST WORK BOTH DAYS) UNIFORM: Black pants, black button down dress shirt, closed toed black shoes. A solid black blazer or cardigan can be worn if needed. Any facial piercings must be removed. PAY: $17.00 per hour (paid weekly via direct deposit) REQUIREMENTS: Must be polished and professional in appearance and demeanor. Must be available for training and for both show dates. Must be courteous and respectful of attendees and co-workers. Must be able to walk throughout the convention center and to stand for extended periods. Must be able to fulfil I-9 requirements. This is a W-2 position. Those who are hired will have the opportunity to work additional jobs through A+ Staffing, including conventions, catering and hospitality, experiential marketing/brand ambassadors, set up and tear down crews, sports and entertainment, merchandising and more.
