We need a part-time delivery driver 2-3 days a week, working as an independent contractor. You would be pulling small furniture items from inventory in our warehouse and loading them onto a high-roof delivery van similar to an Amazon van. You would then deliver them to customers around the Rochester area, and sometimes farther. Delivery is to the outside of the customer's business or residence. You would not need to deliver inside. The items are boxed and stacked, and can be up to about 50 pounds. So you need to be strong. You would be flexible in making your schedule, but most of our customers can receive deliveries between about 8 am and 4 pm. You would be working mostly by yourself, and need to be able to work independently. You would need to carefully review and keep track of delivery lists and paperwork. You need a clean license (a minor ticket is acceptable) but a CDL is not required. You need to be sober and drug-free. It would be excellent, but not necessary, if you have your own large van, or can rent one. Pay weekly, expenses reimbursed. Please tell me a little about yourself, and your work experience.
