Description

If you are unfortunate to land on the guy who originally wrote the original ad, run! Makes some decent points....original bands make no money, have no gigs, and are either Pantera wanna-bees or are indy. If you have to show up with multiple basses to an audition, you've only begun to unpack your baggage one everyone else. Retired is possibly someone who learned at an early stage how to be successful, and might just be that guy in the band who has his shizzz together. Simply make it know on that first call what you are looking to play, how much you want to play it, how big is the rehearsal room. Bands will know the size of the room, the guys who take their money let them know very, very, often. Don't waste peoples time if you just want to play with "not great" musicians. Have fun setting up your gear once a week in some dudes dank living room. 420 friendly is about as useless as a band can be. I could care less what you do, but I don't need your bad habits in my face. And to everyone listing out there, I've been in some great bands and come here occasionally for pickup gigs and such....if the first thing you have to say is "how old are you," don't waste my time by getting that far into the conversation. It just shows your personality, unless you're 15, then maybe that's a reasonable question, but should be stated in the ad.
