May Custom Home is currently seeking a full-time Roofer Technician in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating installed roofing, siding, and gutter work to ensure the highest quality of roof was installed. You’ll also be responsible for completing small and large repairs while also assisting in the development of entry level technicians. Roofer Responsibilities: • Visit potential jobsites to take measurements and provide material lists as well as estimated labor hours • Pick up and deliver materials to a homeowner's location or one of our vendor locations • Assess and document the quality of work being performed by the roofing subcontractors • Perform basic clean-up of homeowner's location • Perform Quality Control (QC) checks on recently finished jobs • Communicate with homeowners on a regular basis while completing the job • Sell jobs and upgrades as needed • Perform all other duties assigned Roofer Requirements: • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) • Three or more years of experience • A valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required • Must be able to travel 70-90% of the time Roofer Pay: $15.00-$25.00/hour plus potential for performance bonuses.
