A local manufacturing company is hiring for a Shop Labor Helper/ Assistant Fabricator to join their team. The responsibilities of this position include loading/unloading, product assembly, cutting/ bending steel and assisting the welders as needed. You will be cross trained on welding, burning, cutting, CNC plasma, ect. An ideal candidate has the ability to work hands on and stand for long periods of time. Someone who is willing to learn and pick up on new tasks is necessary. Candidates must be able to commit to the schedule and have reliable transportation. This is a full time position with growth opportunities for the right individual! Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Qualifications: -Previous warehouse, metalworking or manufacturing experience -Must be eager to learn and be a team player -Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time -Reliable transportation Starting pay: $13.00 per hour with performance based increases after the probationary period.
