I’m casually looking for a home for my female 1yo cockatiel Pearl (she’s a pearl mutation and her name is Pearl). She is the sweetest bird I have ever in my life met, NEVER bites even when she probably should. Gets along with kids, other birds, animals, men and women and truly just wants to spend all her time with people. She will flock call a little if she can’t see her people but is otherwise fairly quiet *for a cockatiel*. She is fully flighted and needs to stay that way. She isn’t used to being cages for long periods but will tolerate it. Ideally her new home will let her free roam as much as we do (sunrise to sunset basically). She comes with her large fully stocked flight cage that she sleeps in, food and any other accessories I may have for her. I will be extremely picky about where she goes since her life is pretty good here with the one exception of not getting as much attention as she deserves. I have a huge flight aviary I keep 20+ various types of parakeets and cockatiels in where everyone gets along great. She hates being in there because she just wants to be with people! With my work and home life this isn’t ideal and she’s too dang sweet to stay in my retirement aviary for rescue birds. I will ignore any messages that simply as me the “cost” without further details about why you’d like her. It is very important to me she finds a great home to match her great personality. She’s too much of a sweetheart to be locked away all day or used for breeding purposes!
