Sophie is a very sweet 2 1/2 year-old female who I have had since last summer. She came from a dairy farm previously and wasn't getting along with another adult female dog. She is well house trained and travels very well. She is generally inside when I am in and out when I am out. I am retired and live alone and have found it more inconvenient than I thought it would be to have a dog when I want to take little trips to go visit my kids or other family members. So I have decided to look for another home for her. Country home would be preferred. She is extremely devoted and does not like it when I drive away, sometimes chasing me partway down the road and then she watches for me until I come home, running out in front of me. Otherwise, she ignores cars and does not bark at strangers or delivery persons. However, her lack of caution around my vehicles makes it important that she have a safe environment with respect to roads. She never wanders off and I do not keep her in a pen or on a leash. She is not particularly large for an English mastiff, less than 110 pounds. She has relatively long hair and the previous owner advertised her as a "fluffy" English mastiff. She is up-to-date on shots and copies will be provided as well as about five months supply of Frontline. I may request references. She helps keep stray cats off my place.
