Join us for this fun hands-on workshop in honor of Oceans. Learn how (and why) to make delicious sushi—without the fish! Join us for this fun hands-on workshop in honor of Oceans. Learn how (and why) you can make delicious sushi without the fish and practice mindful cooking, eating, and writing in the process. With guest artists Nancy Murrey-Settle (MA, ACC*) and Elizabeth Reed (MBA, PCC**), both health and wellness coaches, we will roll sushi together while discussing the benefits of mindful eating and how to make more informed food choices. Are you vegan-curious by chance? Nancy will demonstrate and guide us through a vegan sushi-making process and Elizabeth will share her knowledge of vegan food and nutrition, including how a plant-based lifestyle can benefit your health and the health of our planet. We will eat our sushi together, and write about the joys of food and cooking, and gather over a delicious meal. Join us! Open to anyone who identifies as a woman. Class size limited for safety protocols. Register early to reserve a spot.
