Work at Kihei's Premier Condo Community in the heart of South Maui. The community is set on beautifully landscaped 16 acres, and we’re looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician that takes pride in their work, has great attention to detail, enjoys working inside and outside, and can spring into action in the event of an emergency. Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of all common areas and perform safety checks. • Ensure all common mechanical systems are inspected, tested, and maintained. • Survey the property and note any deficiencies that are visible and make the necessary repairs. • Report unsafe conditions and accidents immediately to the site manager. • Perform emergency repair and maintenance to ensure the safety of the property. • Enforce community rules and policies. Respond to inquiries from owners, tenants, and guests. • Keep and maintain accurate written records and document work each day. • Complete tasks as assigned by Site Manager and be back-up in Site Manager’s absence. Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Pool operator certification (CPO) is preferred but not required. • General knowledge of building construction, maintenance, plumbing, and electrical systems. • Adept in the use of hand tools and power tools. Physical Requirements • Prolonged periods of standing and walking. • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. Pay • $20 per hour, 40 hours per week. • Eligible for an annual performance bonus. • Health benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision. Hours • 6:30 am – 2:30 pm, must be flexible to work weekends & some holidays. • Must live in the local area to respond to on-site emergencies.
