An Evening of Botanical Sketching and Drawing Join us for a fun evening of nature sketching with Jessica Yurwitz! Jessica, owner of Slow River Studio, is an Essex resident with nearly thirty years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Brown University. She began her career teaching middle school art and went on to teach high school English and eventually became a high school principal. Jess believes that everyone can develop artistic talent with expert instruction and patient coaching. She can help you overcome your fears and develop your identity as an artist! A fee of $10 for non-members . The event starts at 6:30. The program will start at 7 after a brief member's meeting.
