On Sunday, September 18, 2022, the annual Harvest Walk & 5K at Mapleside Farms will feature a one-mile walk and 5K run! All PAID participants will receive a long-sleeve shirt and admission to Mapleside's Pumpkin Village on event day! SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES 7:30am – Check-in and event day registration begin Enjoy all the event day activities including refreshments, a raffle, balloon artist and visiting with local health and wellness organizations. 8:45am - Welcome announcements 9:00am - One-mile walk & 5K kick off 10:00am - Awards Ceremony Pumpkin Village opens DONATIONS & FUNDRAISING If friends and family would like to make a donation on your behalf, they can do so right here on Eventbrite, or through the KFO website. Take it a step farther and create your own fundraising page to track the donations you receive! PACKET PICK-UP To avoid lines the morning of the event, pick-up is available on the following dates and times. Registrations can also be made at pre-registered prices at pick-up: Friday, September 16 9:00am – 3:00pm* Kidney Foundation of Ohio office 2831 Prospect Avenue E Cleveland, OH 44115 *Free street parking is available until 3:00pm Saturday, September 17 9:00am – 12:00pm *Mapleside Farms 294 Pearl Rd Brunswick, OH 44212 *Pick-up will be located inside the Bakery PARKING & DIRECTIONS Mapleside Farms is located at 294 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. Parking will be located in the gravel lots located north of Mapleside, on the west side of Pearl Rd. Follow signs and directions to registration, which will be located in the Cellar. All event day activities will take place in the Barn. ROUTE DETAILS If you are participating in the one-mile walk: It is a one-mile dirt, asphalt and gravel path. Strollers are permitted but may become difficult to push on gravel. The start and finish of the walk are on steep hills. There will be assistance on-site if participants have difficulty navigating the landscape. The Kidney Foundation of Ohio is committed to addressing the needs of all our participants, including those with disabilities. If you have a specific need, please contact the Kidney Foundation of Ohio prior to the event. Pets are not permitted (except registered service dogs). If you are participating in the 5K: The race will be on city streets directly across from Mapleside Farm. The race will begin on Mapleside's property and end in the parking lot across the street for the safety of participants. Traffic control will be available before, during and after the race for assistance. Strollers and pets are permitted during the race. However, pets (except registered service dogs) are not permitted on Mapleside's property. Pull-tag timing is used and participants receive a manually electronic recorded time.
