This annual vintage, handmade & homegrown fair has been a popular shopping destination for Midwesterners for 16 years! Save the date! The Summer Market is a unique, outdoor festival held right along the Black River in Lorain, Ohio. Over 15,000 guests visit the Market each year to shop for furniture, architectural salvage, vintage finds, art & jewelry, coastal decor, fresh produce and a variety of other goods from more than 100 of the region’s most talented artisans, collectors, growers, chefs and shops. Friday July 22 - 3 to 9 pm & Saturday July 23 - 9 am to 5 pm Guests can grab a bite from several featured restaurants and food trucks, enjoy a cocktail by the water, listen to some yacht rock, watch the sun set or shop in the summer sun. Friday Night Live Music at our Sunset Soiree on the lower green. (a mini event within the event) Sponsored by the Ed Huck Team at Keller Williams. 2:30-5:30 pm - Nick Zuber - acoustic folk 6:00-9:00 pm - Boaterhead - smooth rock, party band celebrating the hits of the 70's and early 80's 3:00-8:00 pm - Take a tour of the Lorain Lighthouse with the Lorain Lighthouse Foundation. Tours leave the dock every hour starting at 3 pm and ending at 8 pm. These sell quickly, so be sure to grab your ticket soon! The Summer Market is a fundraising event for our non-profit, Girls Give Back. Proceeds from the weekend benefit local families and organizations in need. It is a wonderful, feel good event that should not be missed! Oh, and bring a truck!
