She remembers looking up at the redwoods for the first time, totally in awe, never having known that trees could be so big and the ocean could be so close.After graduating college, they pursued their careers and moved from Chicago to San Francisco to New York City and beyond. But the majestic redwood forest, the scenic Lost Coast, the wild rivers and the mountains were all beckoning. With a tolerance for calculated risk and a plan to start a distillery, they moved back to Humboldt.
