Refinishing and Replacing Interior Wood Trim - 2-Part Workshop**

**THIS WORKSHOP HAS 2 CLASSES, PLEASE RESERVE TICKETS FOR BOTH DATES**
In this class we will discuss different types of trim (baseboard, casing, window sills, chair rail, etc), how to remove trim without damaging it, proper tools for removal, installing new trim, and different methods of stripping paint, stain, other finishes, wood repairs, including what products to use, sanding, paints and finishes, re-installing or replacing.
Students will have hands-on opportunities to practice removing, restoring, and installing trim at our Casa Colina venue.
About the teacher:
Holly Dorning (she/her) has a background in historic preservation and restoration, with a degree from a trade school specializing in the historic trades. She is currently a site superintendent with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati, working on rehabbing historic homes from the late 1800s. Holly loves historic houses and believes that taking the time to learn how to care for your home is integral in building strong people and communities.
This is a donation-based workshop. Suggested ticket donation is $25 per class. Participants are encouraged to donate as their financial capacity allows. Do It Yourself Darlin is a program of the non-profit CDC Price Hill Will. All of DIYD’s funding comes from donations and grants.
