Meet Lily! Lily is a spayed, 10 month old, brown tabby kitten. She is very sweet but very shy. Lily and her brother were found at 6 weeks old, and were supposed to be adopted together. Sadly, the adopter moved away and changed their mind about adopting. Since then, Lily's brother has found his forever home, but Lily is still waiting for hers. Being an introvert, Lily needs a special person who is knowledgeable about cat behaviors and is patient with cats who take a while to make friends. Her ideal person is someone who wants to build her trust and confidence, and is okay letting Lily go at her own pace. Lily's perfect home would be with a working professional or a couple where she could have a mixture of attention and alone time. She would also do well with a retiree who is an experienced cat owner. She would be happiest being the only pet, but could have one other furry housemate- provided they're low energy and don't chase or roughhouse with her. As a kitten she lived in a foster home with other animals, but was overwhelmed by the activity of a busy household. A quiet house is her happy place. She needs to be an indoor-only cat. No children. If someone doesn't go through, the next number will be given. With kitten season approaching, to anyone who wants a kitten and couldn't have Lily, can still get one.
