Press release from the City of Waukee: November 17, 2020 Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a new Public Health Disaster proclamation that imposes additional public health measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. In response to that proclamation and continuing public health concerns, Waukee Parks & Recreation rental facilities are closed through Jan. 3, 2021. Existing rental agreements will be refunded in full for the Community Center, Fox Creek Pavilion and Ridge Pointe Pavilion. Waukee Parks & Recreation programs and leagues are canceled or postponed through Jan. 3, 2021. Recreation Supervisors will contact participants and team captains with more information. The department will be implementing some virtual programming, so please stay tuned for more information as it becomes available. This press release was produced by the City of Waukee.
