LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach Public Library, in conjunction with the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, is holding a donations drive for Ukraine. The library is only accepting certain items, including: Non-glass baby bottles Non-glass infant formulaDiapersWipesFirst aid kitsFeminine productsNeosporin, Tylenol, Motrin, aspirinNon-perishable foodClothing is not being requested. The library is working with Anna Forte, who was born in Kyiv and came to the US when she was eight years old. She has many family members still in Ukraine, working with donationforukraine.com to receive provisions. The library said supplies are getting flown to Poland and then head over the border by trucks to Ukraine.
