East Smithfield Library Opens 3 Days per Week without Appointment

Beginning Monday, August 3 the library will open without appointments on Mondays from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to browse and checkout materials. The stacks will be open. 12 people will be allowed in at a time. All people entering the library MUST wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth. The library will continue to accept appointments for computer use, 2 at a time, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Assistance with or instruction on computers will not be available at this time because of social distancing requirements. Please call the library (231-5150 ext. 4) any time we're open for appointments to set up your appointments. We will continue to offer contact-less pick-up on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please call (231-5150 ext. 0) on Tuesdays between 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. to request your pick up on the same day between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. On Thursdays please call between 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. to request pick up on the same day between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Please feel free to call during these times to request items through inter-library loan or ask any other library related questions. You will receive further instructions when you call to make your appointment.
