Senior Small Dog Looking for Quiet Home

We have a small 11 year old chihuahua mix (her DNA test results were chihuahua, lab and American Eskimo) and we are seeking a loving, quiet, kid free home for her to enjoy her senior years at. She loves the outdoors, running in the woods, exploring and hiking but needs time to build trust. She is OK with kids that are respectful of space but would prefer her to go to a home with older kids or none at all. She loves to lay in the sun and relax and is quiet (not a yippy barker etc.) we love her to death but our home is too loud, to active and overwhelming for her. She’s a rescue, has seen her fair share of action and just simply prefers peace and quiet and long walks in the woods or park. We are looking for someone who can give her time to warm up and someone that doesn’t expect affection right away. Once she builds trust she will be your shadow and lounge buddy! She’s ok with some dogs but it’s hit or miss, great at dog parks and off leash. A dog-free home would work best but we’re open to placing her with another dog if the fit is right. She is currently staying with my parents in Sisters, and can be available for meet and greets if interested. We currently live in Redmond near Bend Oregon but frequently make trips to portland and can plan a meet and greet!
