We are in need of self-employed contract drivers to deliver luggage from the Pittsburgh Airport. If you fit the descriptions below, we will train you! READ THESE DETAILS CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTACTING US; Qualified drivers will own (NOT lease) a decent vehicle with AMPLE & SECURE CARGO space, possess a smartphone, pass a backround check, be able to lift 75+lbs, and be willing to drive at night/overnight in all kinds of weather. A hands-free bluetooth device, stand alone GPS, and/or dash mount for your phone if you use it for nav is recommended Sometimes a route is only a few hours, sometimes it's 6-8+ hours. Most of us drive mini-vans or SUV's, they allow the cargo room and good gas mileage. Pay depends on how many deliveries done per week. We usually have anywhere from 5-15 deliveries per route. Direct deposit weekly. It is a physical job, pushing a loaded baggage cart the length of the terminal and back, sometimes several times a night, is required. Having a neat appearance (wearing a company shirt) and a professional attitude is also a must, you will be interacting with the public, handling customer service for your assigned deliveries, and working with the Baggage Agents from each airline. We are under contract with the airlines, so following the guidelines of this contract is part of the job. Shifts available as follows: *Saturdays 5:30pm and 12:30am (Saturday night-Sunday morning) as needed. *Sundays 8:30pm Mondays 5:30pm Tuesdays 12:30am (Tuesday night-Wednesday morning) as needed. Thursdays 12:30am (Thursday night-Friday morning) as needed. Fridays 5:30pm * Weekend shifts are a must, if you don't want to work weekends, we can't use you.
