Learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch!
Join us in the culinary classroom for an evening of pasta making (and tasting!) with Daniel Lee of Farina Pasta and Noodle. In this hands-on class you will learn how to make your own handmade dough, use a pasta sheeter, and cook your pasta to perfection. To round out this Italian-style meal you’ll also learn how to make restaurant quality garlic bread. Bring your questions and a hearty appetite!
This class is vegetarian friendly. Please notify us in advance with any dietary restrictions or allergies.

About the presenter:
Dan signed up for the army before graduating High School. He served four and a half years as an explosive ordinance disposal technician. After finishing his contract, he was accepted into Drexel’s Culinary Arts program. He picked culinary because he had always loved cooking and had been doing it at home for as long as he can remember. He was able to study abroad in Italy, where he was inspired by the food and used the things he learned to help him open a restaurant. He is now the owner of Farina Pasta and Noodle in Center City, which specializes in freshly made Italian-style pasta and Asian-style noodles. Dan and Farina Pasta and Noodle have been profiled by the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Specialty Food Association, and Cuisine Noir Magazine.
