Spring 2022 Wildflower Walk at Lyman Woods Nature Preserve, Saturday April 30, 9:00 AM with a rain date of Sunday May 1, 1:00 PM. Pierce Downer's Heritage Alliance will sponsor a Wildflower Walk at Lyman Woods, Saturday April 30 at 9:00 AM with a rain date of Sunday May 1 at 1:00 PM. Intrepid guide Lance Herning will introduce the early spring plant communities at Lyman on a guided tour of the Woods’ more pristine areas. Please sign up for the Spring Walk at www.pdha.org. There is no charge for the Walk but donations are always welcome. The group will be limited to 15 walkers. All ages are welcome but please bear in mind the walk is about 1.5 to 2 hours and will cover a mile or so. The group will meet at the Lyman Woods Interpretive Center, 901 31st St. in Downers Grove at 8:45 for a 9:00 AM departure. Refreshments will be served after the walk. Hope to see you there!
