SANTA CRUZ, CA — California Street at Bay Street will close from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday as crews begin work on a segment of the Coastal Rail Trail, the city announced. Crews will grind and pave the street, south of the railroad tracks to Bay Street. A detour will re-route cars onto Seaside Street and Acadia Avenue.
