Black Maternal Art/photo Exhibit in Spokane, WA Join our photo exhibit April 16th. Drop by anytime from 12 to 4pm. We are aligning our mission for this project with “Black Mama’s Matter Alliance,” who founded Black Maternal Health Week Campaign. (BMHW) It is a week of awareness, activism, and community building. Black Mama’s Matter Alliance is to: · Deepen the national conversation about Black maternal health in the US; · Amplify community-driven policy, research, and care solutions; · Center the voices of Black Mamas, women, families, and stakeholders; · Provide a national platform for Black-led entities and efforts on maternal health, birth and reproductive justice; and to enhance community organizing on Black maternal health The photos in this show are from around the US and local of women and there journey.
