BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline firefighters responded to a basement fire Tuesday morning, said the department in a Facebook post. The fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. at 312 Russett Road. The flames were immediately knocked down and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
