Description
BOSTON — A 10-inch butcher knife was taken from a child's car seat by security at Boston's Logan Airport Monday.
The knife was detected in a seat that was occupied by a young child at the time, TSA New England said.
"We love babies… but not butcher knives!" TSA New England spokesman Dan Velez tweeted of the incident.
Once the knife was found, Massachusetts State Troopers responded, taking the knife out of the carrier while reminding travelers to pack knives properly in checked bags.
It's unclear why the knife was stored in the car seat, but the young child was not hurt.
