Nothing welcomes Summer more than Rum. We will explore the six distinct regions of Scotland, and how each influences the whiskys that they produce. From the palate punching peatiness of Islay to the heathered honeys of the Highlands, join us for a simple introduction to this most complex of whiskies. The Whiskey House is pleased to announce additional events in our new spirits series. These events are designed for those of our guests who are interested in learning more about whiskey and spirits in general. We are collaborating with local Spirits Educator, Rex Schulze, to conduct a series of “Tutored Tastings” to celebrate the history, production, and story behind the many great liquors available today. The classes are to be held at the Whiskey House on the Third Wednesday of each month, begin at 6:30 and run for approximately 90 minutes. Each class will include approximately 7 spirit samples paired with an array of light palate-cleansing bites. A 25% discount is available to those who wish to stay and enjoy any food and drink at the conclusion of the class. These sessions are each limited to 30 people, so please secure your seat before we sell out!
