35 New COVID-19 Cases Identified In Camden County

Press release from the Camden County Government: March 29, 2022 (Gloucester Township, NJ) – The Camden County Department of Health is announcing 16 new positive cases of COVID-19 which occurred Tuesday, March 29. Additionally, there were 19 cases detected through antigen testing, bringing the total number of cases to 35. The aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 104,554 and 1,605 total fatalities. The outcomes from these antigen tests, unlike the results from the polymerase chain reaction, (PCR) are probable positive cases. These daily numbers are added into our aggregated lab tested PCR metrics. Of the 16 cases, 2 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 40 years old. Vaccine hours: Operational hours at the Camden County Health Hub vaccine clinic run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursdays. This includes booster shots for ages 12-17. To date, 411,305 Camden County residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 360,724 have received two doses and 185,020 have received a third dose. The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Omicron variant.
