BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court. Sasha M. Phaneuf, 36, of Nottingham Road in Deerfield on a felony possession of a controlled drug; acts prohibited-fentanyl charge on Nov. 6, 2021, in Epping. Elijah I. Poisson, 30, of Auburn Street in Plaistow on a felony second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence charge. He was accused by police of strangling an intimate partner on Nov. 25, 2021, in Plaistow. David C. Richardson, 49, with a last known address of Riverdale Road in Weare or Spruce Street in Manchester, on a felony unauthorized use of a propelled vehicle or rented property charge. He was accused by police of willfully refusing or neglecting to return a 2020 Volkswagen Passat owned by Avis-Budget Car Rental between March 6 and May 7, 2021, in Londonderry. Angel L. Rivera, 35, of Stevens Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on a felony criminal threatening-firearm charge. He was accused by police of pointing a firearm at two other people when walking out of a house in Newton on July 9, 2020. Giovanni A. Rivera, 29, of South Policy Street in Salem on a felony receiving stolen property charge. He was accused by police of retaining or receiving a 2005 Acura TSX, owned by another person, that he knew to be stolen on Nov. 7, 2021, in Salem. Karina Rivera-Rose, 33, of Howard Street in Randolph, MA, on theft by deception, forgery, and identity fraud, all felonies, as well as three theft by unauthorized taking charges. She was accused by police in Salem of drawing a check on the Digital Federal Credit Union account of two others for $3,500 and posing as another to access cash as well as obtaining a stolen license plate, checkbook, and ID card of another, on March 11, 2021. Robert B. Ryan, 37, of University Street in Auburn, Maine, a felony possession of a controlled drug; acts prohibited-methamphetamine charge on March 25, 2021, in Portsmouth. Previously, according to the indictment, he was convicted of unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in the Franklin Unified Court in October 2015. Anthony J. Santos, 43, of Vista Drive in Canaan on a felony possession of fentanyl charge on Dec. 1, 2020, in Salem. Justin W. Scott, 41, of Allen Street in West Buxton, ME, on possession of crack cocaine, possession of more than 5 grams of crack cocaine with intent to dispense, and possession of fentanyl charges, all felonies, on Jan. 4, 2021, in Portsmouth. James Shankle, 49, of Chester Road in Candia on two negligent homicide and two negligent homicide-DUI charges, all felonies. He was accused by police of driving a Polaris Ranger while intoxicated, at a high rate of speed, and crashing it, causing the deaths of two people on Sept. 12, 2021, in Candia. Sherys, 50, of Sesame Street in Raymond on a felony burglary charge. He was accused by police of burglarizing a home on Woodland Circle in Raymond on Feb. 9, 2020.
