SANTA CRUZ, CA — Santa Cruz County finalized elections results on Tuesday, marking the end of a weeks-long ballot counting process following the Nov. 3 presidential election. Election workers tallied 146,857 votes — the highest number ever recorded in a county election, according to the Santa Cruz County Clerk/Registrar of Voters office. Turnout was at 86 percent.
