SANTA CRUZ, CA — Santa Cruz police investigated a stabbing over the weekend that followed a parking lot fight, police said. Michelle Antonio-Moreno, 19, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to a news release from the Santa Cruz Police Department. Officers were first called to a public parking lot at 100 Front St. around 6 p.m. Friday after receiving a call of a physical altercation between a man and woman. Police arrived to find that George Mario Castellanos, 46, was stabbed. Officers in the area apprehended and arrested Antonio-Moreno, police said. Castellanos was taken to San Jose's Valley Medical Center and was in stable condition as of Saturday. Antonio-Moreno was treated at Dominican Hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.
