The Amazing Corvair: GM’s Most Revolutionary Production Car
Presented by Museum Docent John Sell
The Corvair is regarded as the most daring and controversial car ever produced by General Motors. It offered a unique combination of features unlike any American car before or since. This talk will examine how the car came to be, what made it successful, what made it controversial, what the competition looked like (both domestics and imports), and why it went out of production after only 10 years.
Cost: Free to Museum members, included with the price of admission, otherwise $5.
