HAC invites you to "Vintage Tea Dance" featuring Swing Dance Lessons, LIVE Music, Hors d'oeuves, Drinks, and more . . . HAC's "Vintage Tea Dance - Swing into Spring" takes us back to the traditional tea dances reminiscent of the 1920’s to 1940’s. An optional 45-minute East Coast Swing dance lesson, led by Rebecca Chandler of Hattiesburg Ballroom & Beyond, is included and will begin promptly at 3pm. Doors will open at 2:45 for the quick dance lesson and reopen again at 3:45 for the main event. This early evening gathering will officially kick-off promptly at 4pm.Your favorite vintage era tunes will be presented LIVE by The Southern Miss Jazztet featuring Larry Panella.Refreshing tea, tasty signature cocktails, and exquisite hor d’oeuves will be served all evening as we gather together in the vintage style ambiance and décor of the Hattiesburg Cultural Center.Get ready to mingle and mix at this festive HAC fundraising social event. We encourage you to dress in creative vintage attire, revel in the spirited music and swing and sway on the dance floor.There is something for everyone !!!Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door. All tickets include one FREE cocktail, and a cash bar will be available.Parking and elevator access is available in the rear of the Hattiesburg Cultural Center and additional parking across the street at the former Hattiesburg American Newspaper building.All proceeds will benefit the Hattiesburg Arts Council and its many community programs. HAC is a 501(c)(3) organization.
