AUBURN, ME — Three teenagers were arrested this weekend after a video on social media showed them assaulting two homeless people in an Auburn park, according to a report citing local police. Police on Saturday were called to conduct a well-being check on two homeless people who were reportedly assaulted in Moulton Park, according to a report by WGME. Both people were unable to identify their assailants; however, police later learned about a video circulating on social media that showed two teenage girls attacking them. The video shows two teenage girls hitting and kicking a homeless woman while the homeless man next to her pleaded with the girls to stop, according to a separate WGME report. The girls then kicked him in the head twice. Police arrested a 14-year-old girl, a 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy in connection with the attack, WGME reported. Both girls are charged with aggravated assault, while the boy, who recorded the attacks, is facing criminal conspiracy charges. Read the full report at WGME.
